Conversations
Conversations in Chelle are more than chat logs - they're working sessions where knowledge gets created and refined.
Starting a Conversation
Click "New Conversation" to start fresh. If you have proactive suggestions enabled, Chelle will greet you with ideas based on your workspace.
Each conversation is tied to a workspace, so Chelle always has context.
Conversation History
Your conversations are saved and accessible from the sidebar. Click any past conversation to resume it with full context - Chelle remembers everything from that session.
What Chelle Can Do
In conversations, Chelle can:
- Create entities - "Create a task for reviewing the docs"
- Read your lake - "What tasks are open for the website project?"
- Update entities - "Mark task 42 as done"
- Write documents - "Draft a project plan for..."
- Answer questions - "How should I approach this problem?"
Context Awareness
Chelle reads your Context Lake before responding. She knows about your projects, tasks, and documents. You can reference them naturally:
- "What's the status of the website project?"
- "Add a note to yesterday's journal entry"
- "Create a task related to the Acme client"
Tips for Effective Conversations
- Be specific - "Create a task" vs "Add something to my list"
- Reference context - Use project names, entity IDs
- Let Chelle work - She'll create files and make changes
- Ask for clarification - Chelle will ask if she's unsure
