Multiple Workspaces
As your knowledge grows, you may want separate workspaces for different areas of your life or work.
Why Multiple Workspaces?
- Separation of concerns - Keep work and personal separate
- Different contexts - Each workspace has its own entities
- Collaboration - Share specific workspaces, not everything
Switching Workspaces
When you start a new conversation, you'll be asked to select a workspace. Your workspace choice determines:
- Which Context Lake Chelle can access
- Where new entities are created
- What roles and skills are available
Workspace Organization
Common patterns:
- Personal - Default workspace for personal knowledge
- Work - Professional projects and tasks
- Project-specific - Dedicated workspace for a major initiative
- Client workspaces - Separate contexts for different clients
Creating New Workspaces
New workspaces can be created by administrators. Each workspace starts with a basic structure and README.
Workspace Independence
Each workspace is independent:
- Separate entity IDs
- Separate conversation history
- Separate configuration
Chelle doesn't mix context between workspaces unless explicitly shared.
