This guide walks you through creating your first course with Chelle.
Sign up
- Go to chelle.app
- Create your account
- You'll land on your course dashboard
Upload your textbook
Click New Course and upload your source material. Chelle accepts PDF textbooks and other document formats. The upload kicks off the six-stage course building workflow.
Review the Knowledge Model
After processing your textbook, Chelle builds a Knowledge Model — a structured map of every concept, connection, and learning objective found in your material. Review the model to make sure it captured what matters.
Define your units
Chelle suggests a course structure based on the Knowledge Model. You can accept the suggestion, modify it, or create your own unit structure from scratch.
Generate activities
Select which activity types you want for each unit — lectures, labs, worksheets, study guides, or assessments — and Chelle generates them. Every activity traces back to specific concepts in your source material.
